Huang Yi
Huang Zuciang, known by his penname Huang Yi, is a Chinese writer of wuxia novels He was born in Hong Kong, graduated from the Department of Fine Arts of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and once worked as the Assistant Chairperson of Hong Kong Museum of Art. He resigned from this job and became a full-time writer. Jin Yong and Sihma Ling were the two novelists he admired the best. The works he wrote in his earliest stage were not knight-errant novels but science fictions with the protagonist usually called Ling Duyu, and these novels were similar to those written by Ni Quang. The publication of the novel Dajianshi Chuanci set in the future and combining knight-errant novels with sci-fi, proclaimed the arrival of Huang Yi's new style. It also predicted the upcoming series of books Huyu Fanyun.
