She debuted in 1977 in the "Ghost of Kim" Shogakukan special edition manga. According to her web site's profile, she considers her representative works to include "Nayuta," "Bremen 5," "Dark Green" and "Ryuon." 

In recent years, she works not only on science-fiction manga, but also pet-related manga.
