Furudate was a former volleyball player during Junior High School, gaining the position of middle blocker. Furudate lived in the Iwate Prefecture until graduation and moved to Miyagi Prefecture after.

Furudate's gender is unknown. But Japanese fans think they are a woman. Their gender has never been official.
