Hisame Lugis

The Vice Captain of the Sreg Knight Circle. A sly and ill-mannered character, he is first seen during Kiki's past. He proposed to Kiki, heir to the Seiran household, who promptly refuses. He later confronts her on horseback about his marriage proposal stating his reason for wanting to marry her is only because he thinks being the son-in-law to the Seiran estate is better than serving his brother for the rest of his life. He then challenges her to a duel, a two vs two battle. Should he win, Kiki would have to marry him. Kiki humbly accepts and initially refuses help from Mitsuhide and Zen, stating she would rely on herself to win. After Mitsuhide intervenes, Kiki accepts his help and defeats him. He is one of the few people Mitsuhide dislikes. Mitsuhide has openly expressed how he could not allow him to be near Kiki. Whenever they meet, Hisame never passes up a chance to make a sly derision at Mitsuhide. Mitsuhide responds in kind albeit more politely.
