Honoka Shikibu

The girl who sits one seat across from Koremitsu. She feels an inherent duty to help Koremitsu with what he's trying to do, and lately has found herself worrying and thinking about him so much that she doesn't really know what to do with herself. Under the pen name "Purple-Hime/Princess Purple" she writes cellphone romance novels and manages a love consulting forum. She is good at resolving questions about love for other and is admired by girls for that, but when the problem comes to her own, she has no idea how to deal with them. She confessed to Koremitsu in volume 5. Her model character in "Tale of Genji" is the author: Murasaki Shikibu (Lady Murasaki). Among all the heroines in the novel, she is the only one who has no previous relations with Hikaru. She is voiced by Haruka Tomatsu in the Drama CD adaptation.
