Hiromi Watari

A doctor who saved Shogo from the police and took him to her mountain home. She trains him to be a marathon runner in hopes of healing his heart, but ends up falling for him. Her ex-husband attempts to get her back on several occasions until she saves Shogo from falling from a cliff, when she falls down the side of a mountain and goes blind. She confesses to Shogo shortly before her death. In the last pages of chapter five, she is shown to have the appearance as the Goddess in Shogo's visions.
