Shirou Takenaka

The former advisor to the Hirin Middle School Birl's Kendo Club. He lost his position as advisor when the Boys' Kendo Club and the Girls' Kendo Club merged into a single club and a new adviser was appointed. He believes his popularity with the ladies comes from the combination of his glasses, beard, and identity as a kendoka. He tried wearing contacts once and lost his popularity. He shaved his beard and was immediately dumped by his ex-girlfriend. He quit kendo for a year to try tennis and went without a girlfriend for the duration.
