Jill

Jill is a quiet, sensitive girl who lives in a village (which at the time that Guts and Puck arrive) is being plagued by violent attacks from fairies. Her father, Mr. Zepek, is a reminiscent drunk, who basks in the memory of his former days in the military and pays little attention to Jill, while her mother is a more caring and compassionate woman who as well suffers a bit of neglect from her husband. She sets out with guts and Puck to find her friend Rosine in the forest, despite the many dangers and trials that await. At the end of their journey she asks Guts if she can accompany him on his quest for revenge, Guts declines and insists that Jill stays in her village with her parents. Guts' Journey is a dark one, filled with hate and violence.
