Kurusu Kiyoshi

A mysterious character in search of the ancient scroll; much like Finney. He is the mastermind behind both the Shimoyama incident and the JFK assassination and frequently appears in Zofuu, Kevin Yamagata and Kevin Goodman's comics. It is revealed that Kurusu was able to briefly converse with the Bat in his youth; thereafter he searches in vain for the Bat his entire life. Eventually, he resorts to travelling to the Moon, where the White Bat resides. The White Bat is said to grant your wish and, after making it to the Bat moments before his death, Kurusu declares that he wishes to redo his life, which recreates history and puts the world in great peril.
