Cesare's trust-worthy retainer, he's been assigned to take care of his Lord back to his days at Perugia's seminary and has stayed at his side since then. Along with Chiaro, he's the closest to a right hand and confident Cesare has. He also serves as information collector and probably as a spy himself. His relationship with Cesare is at first a simple servant-master type however, as Chiaro's actions and his relationship with him reach an entanglement, Volpe steps in with a renewed strength seeing in Cesare the true conqueror he is destined to be.
