Icarus Tegafur Glandol

The beloved previous king of Glandol, which makes him the father of the Mao, Hal and Kait. He started the age of peace and Glandol's golden age. Though well liked by many, he had a fierce dark side to him. Icarus was not born royalty. He was once a homeless forgotten child. The king before him took him in and made him a royal guard. Icarus rose thorough the ranks easily and became that king's most trusted guard. He would then in turn would stage a coup d'tat and kill that king and his queen, but let Garre and his sister live. Even though, a prophecy stated that one of his children will bring the downfall of his kingdom, Icarus treated the boys equally. He dressed them the same, gave them the same education, and placed the cursed mark on all three of them, so that no one will know who was the cursed one. Icarus suffered from the madness the Hal and Kait inherited. Icarus death was caused, when he was trapped by Garre. He was severely tortured and Kait was the one who killed him. Mao is impersonating him.
