Kiyoharu Kido

Kiyo transfers schools with Akatsuki for their second year of middle school so they can play basketball, but they're seperated when Akatsuki is put on the F ("failure") team while Kiyo makes the B team. This puts Kiyo in an awkward position, torn between wanting to play basketball with Akatsuki and wanting to improve himself enough to make it to the A team.
