The protagonist of the series who at age 13, works as a landlady and a femme à tout faire, roughly translated as "Jack of all trades".

Gisele is bright, cheerful, and outgoing, and always willing to help out someone in need. She has a strong sense of justice and if her task will harm someone involved, she will try to find an alternative solution. She can also be too inquisitive and curious for her own good.

She has a pet cat named Arsène.
