Meridiana

An emotionless fortuneteller with the ability to foresee events, she falls in love with Cain. Her memories of her life before Delilah are hazy and she believes that Cain can restore them along with her emotions. Although Meridiana initially believes Jezebel genuinely loves her, she later realizes it is Cain who does and she escapes from Jezebel. After she learns that she had previously died and been resurrected by Delilah as a doll, she commits suicide to protect Cain from Jezebel. Cain is devastated by Meridiana's death since she is the first person he could love who is not blood-related to him; he later realizes that the reason he was so intensely attracted to her was that her blue eyes eerily resembled Suzette's.
