Mitsurou Kumoi

Cooking Department Second Year in Shokusen, as well as Satoru's roommate. Born with defective kidneys, Mitsurou was neglected by his busy father. Instead he found a role model in his personal chef Kuroda, whom sparks his interest in cooking by fixing his kidneys and promising to teach him. One year after Kuroda is fired for going against orders by trying to heal his master's spleen, he dies and is forgotten by Mitsurou's father. This forces Mitsurou to decide not to follow in his father's footsteps by becoming a Culinary Artist instead of the Minister of Justice. He can tell the physical condition of people by examining their blood.
