Takeya Oogami

Misao's older brother. He and another branch family member were instructed to bring in Kazuma for questioning when members of the Kannagi branch families started to be killed. More level-headed than his partner, Takeya was determined to talk to Kazuma peacefully and convince him to go back with them to the Kannagi house. Wanting revenge for the death of his brother, Shingo Yuuki, Takeya's partner launched a flame assault on Kazuma in a blind rage, which Kazuma dealt with easily, which incapacitated him and Takeya. But just as Kazuma walks away from Takeya, a blade of wind magic comes out of nowhere and slices the head off a crane, dropping a load of steel beams on Takeya and his partner, killing them both. The perpetrator was later revealed to be Ryuuya Kazamaki.
