Sona Yuki is a boy traveling with his family. They are attacked by bandits and his entire family is murdered and he is left with a snake mark on his hand. After being saved by Garami he has to follow her in order to pay back the debt of having his life saved. Sona is bighearted and doesn't seem to know much about the world he's living in.
