Kaoruko is Terumi's aunt. She is admired for her beauty and has many admirers. Kaoruko plans to use Terumi as part of her research on Genji Monogatari, and cure his gynophobia by having him conquer 14 women by making them fall in love with him. She's not afraid to let Terumi touch her body so that he can get used to a woman's body; Even offering to have sex with him. Her favorite character in Genji Monogatari is Lady Murasaki, known to have been raised by Genji to be his lover. It is unknown if she plans to do this to Terumi. 

She is very strict in teaching Terumi how to approach the girl and slaps him if he makes a mistake or goes too far, but she also lets Terumi use her body to practice on and to satisfy some of his urges. In recent chapters Kaoruko has started to train Terumi to control his urges so that the girls that he interacts with will not find him disgusting.
