He was having a fight with Shizuka until a truck was about to hit them in which he hugged her in order to protect her. It is speculated that he was transported to the future of the same world Shizuka was transported to and got in touch with Orsted. His actions may have altered the past such as causing the Metastasis Event in order to bring Shizuka to the world.
