Ritsu is a beautiful boy from a wealthy family. Ritsu has an older brother Shizuka and two healthy parents that are present through the manga. His father does not approve of his profession, but loves his son and allows it. Ritsu know his father wanted is son to follow in his footsteps but decidedly likes dancing female dances. Eversense Ritsu was a child he was called a dancing prodigy and his father is the head of the Namegaya Dancing School. He became an accredited master of the Namegaya style and currently is working as a Female Impersonator who does traditional Japanese dance with incredible beauty. He is known in show biz as the Cortesan Prince after he breakout performance. His manager is Yobimzo Yuki (chiro's older sister) and his brother, Yuki and Chiro refer to themselves as like siblings. Ritsu has a cool personality, his dancing is described sublime beauty. Many people see him as cool and aloof, but actually he is a bit of a softy and acts like a spoiled child on occasion. Ritsu loves sweets and is stubborn. Ritsu and chiro have been friends sense childhood and and although Chiro wishes she was like Ritsu, Ritsu states that he wishes he was Chiro.
