Yashiro

The matchmaker in Don't Stay Gold and the protagonist of Tadayoedo Shizumazu, Saredo Naki mo Sezu and its sequel Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai, Yashiro is a sadomasochist who feels the need for people to view him in an obscene light. Through his somewhat cheerful facade lies a broken man with a past of abuse and feels no inclanation to fix his emotional detachment with people. After graduating from High School, Yashiro becomes the young leader of Shinseikai, a yakuza group under Doushinkai. Feeling a strong attraction towards his new attendant and bodyguard, Doumeki, Yashiro decides to distance himself in fear of becoming attached, having already experienced an unrequited love.
