Ilse

Mother of Alexi. She was the person who gave Alexi his name.[1] Ilse met Floran when he arrived in her country to study abroad with Gil. The two fell in love after four months together, and, after attending a party together, ended up spending the night together. Ilse had fallen pregnant as a result of their night together but refused to abort the baby. She took a temporary absence from school, but she did not drop out. Floran and Ilse agreed that once they knew whether the child had the same body as Floran, it would decide who it lived with. Alexi was named after Ilse's grandfather; the man who made her family's restaurant.[1] Ilse lived with Alexi, Floran, and Gil for four years. When Alexi left with Floran and Gil, Ilse lived under the support of her family until she became a chef.[2] Ilse now works in her family's restaurant as the head chef. She was reunited with Alexi when Hannes (a regular customer[3]) brought him and Rael to her restaurant. Alexi was not aware that she was his mother at the time, though, and she did not say anything until they met the next time.
