Tsukushi Saionji

The new Student Council President. She was born from the distinguished Saionji family and grew up as a Yamato Nadeshiko. She lacks confidence due to the chain of misfortune bringing most of her hard-earned efforts to naught. She's also a big fan of Hoshino Meguru. In the past, she used to play the Koto (an instrument). One day, she decided to perform in front of her parents and some relatives. Whilst performing, one of the Koto's strings broke, and caused a series of unfortunate events, turning her performance into a laughing matter. Despite this, she still chose to work hard, despite her misfortune ruining her efforts. Although she had no intention on joining the Student Council, she was voted number one in the popularity contest, due to the bizarre chain of misfortune that occurred as she went up the stage, and just brushing it all off as if it didn't happen. Despite her mishaps, and her denial to join the Student Council, she still decided to at least attend the first meeting, only to be misled to another place by her streak of misfortune. Ken attempted to convince her by trying to bring her to Meguru, to prove that they can actually beat her streak of misfortune, but failed miserably. After consulting Chizuru, Ken managed to convince Tsukushi that he'll definitely bring her to Meguru this time round. Eventually, they succeeded, and at the same time, convinced Tsukushi to gain more confidence in herself.
