Friederike Porsche

A former ground-attack witch, deployed in Afrika as the commander of an armoured battalion. She is among those developing the Tiger 1 land striker unit, and one is attached to her battalion in Afrika. She served in campaigns against the Neuroi in Borussia, Karlsland, and Gallia flying a Stuka striker unit, losing all of her magical ability after being wounded in combat. Despite her age and degraded magical ability, in 1943 Friederike could still muster just enough magical ability to fight if need be. She is quite strong as well, so even without deploying her magical power, she can wield heavy weaponry. Her lover is her subordinate Captain Michael Schmitt, a former panzer commander whom she met in the field during the Battle of Karlsland. He is also her reason why she keeps fighting against the Neuroi. Though by regulation romance between any soldier and a witch, or between a superior and subordinate, is not allowed, Friederike and Michael's romance is tolerated by their commanders because of their respect for the duo's capability. According to Hanna-Justine Marseille, their romance is well known—and envied—amongst Karlsland witches.
