One of the participating players in the first raid party to defeat the first floor boss. He openly spoke out in the first meeting and called out the beta testers hiding in the meeting. He wanted to have them apologize to all the players of SAO for not sharing their knowledge in the game and monopolizing the efficient hunting grounds.
He was also the one who was striking a deal with Kirito to buy his sword but Kirito later found out that Kibaou was just being used by Diabel to draw him out as a beta tester.
After the boss battle, he had Asuna tell Kirito that he does not acknowledge him and will still best him in the next boss battle.
