A small and chubby boy who has been bullied in middle school because of his height and weight. Wanting to escape from the bullies and his troubled middle school past, he also enters the prestigious high school with Touto and Miyakoe and befriends both.

Yuta is usually kind and nice but gets frightened easily, especially when Miyakoe starts talking about scary ghost stories. He's good at remembering his classmates' names and is generally good at academics. He often gets dragged by Miyakoe to go ghost hunting, a feat he's absolutely not thrilled about.
