His parents passed away a long time ago, so he looks after his brothers by taking care of the house chores, such as cooking, and also delivers newspapers part-time. Though from a middle class background, attends the prestigious Nemuki Gakuen (combined Junior High and High School). Thinks this is the reason that he is isolated by classmates, and particularly hated by the girls - which has led to his fear of them. However he is in fact very popular but others are intimated by his good looks. Though innocent, and dense at times, he is very reliable with a gentle nature.
