Tarou Kusakabe

Aspiring cook and the Mouse Knight. Despite the fact the Mouse chooses cowardly people for its partner, Tarou comes up with a strong, fire-based ability he calls Aragami. Tarou's contractual wish is to save the life of his childhood friend (and the loved one) Sorano Hanako. However, for such a wish to come true, it's necessary for himself to take on any wounds she'd suffer. Tarou does just that during the fight against the 9th golem, protecting Hanako with his own body. Despite her also being mortally wounded, the activated wish prevents her death and Kusakabe Tarou The Brave dies after confessing his feeling and blowing up the 9th golem by himself.
