Hajime Hinata

It was revealed in Chapter 4 by Komaeda that Hinata was actually a reserve course student who had no talent whatsoever, and does not have a SHSL title. Having been subjected to an experiment by Hope's Peak, Hinata took on the alternative identity of Izuru Kamukura, who was supposed to be the SHSL Hope with his immense talent. But because he got bored with everything within a short amount of time—most likely due to his brain having been tampered with—their plan failed. He later joined SHSL Despair, and was the one who brought AI Junko to the Jabberwock Islands ultimately making him the mastermind behind the events of danganronpa 2. Kamukura/Hinata essentially holds both the SHSL Hope and Despair titles. It is unclear at the end of Danganronpa 2 whether his personality is that of Izuru, hinata, or a mixture of both
