Yuhki Kamatani is a Japanese artist known for his debut work, Nabari no Ou, which depicts an ordinary boy who has hidden ninja powers. This manga was also adapted into an anime with the same name in 2008. He wrote various fantasy pieces, such as Bushhi no Bushhin: Kamakura Hanbun Busshiroku and Liberamente. Another popular manga he has is Shimanami Tasogare, a manga portraying queer characters and their struggles to come in terms with their identity. He based this off his own experience since he identifies as X-gender and asexual.
