A parent remarrying can be quite troublesome. Having a stranger as your new mom or dad can alienate you and maybe you wouldn't want them to be part of the family. They might even think of the same and mistreat you or maybe they are actually kind. But no matter how kind they are to you, would you even welcome them to the family?
