Description
When sixth grader Hikaru Shindou explores his grandfather’s attic, he uncovers an old go board. To his shock, the board is inhabited by a ghost named Fujiwara no Sai! But Sai isn’t malevolent -- all he wants to do is happily resume playing go as he did in his life, and find the secret to the “Divine Move”. Hikaru couldn’t be less interested in a boring old people's game, but Sai possesses his body and soon convinces Hikaru to let him teach him go! With each game and lesson, Hikaru slowly matures as a person and becomes passionate about the game himself. This is his story of rising through the ranks as a go player! (Note: “Go” is a game of strategy that originated in ancient China. Its appearance is similar to that of checkers, however the gameplay is far more complex and strategic.)
