During one of their last junior high basketball matches, two boys on opposing teams made a decision: to quit basketball. Akane Tachibana had enough of the pressures that sucked the fun of the sport away, and Hitonari Hiiragi was fed up with walking in his father and older brother’s footsteps. Despite their fighting, the two gained a certain curiosity about the other. The pair end up going to Kouzu High together the following spring. Tachibana makes good on his word of quitting basketball and tries out other clubs. However, the two are soon back on the court, this time on the same team. Can these two rivals bring out each other’s strengths and love for basketball once more? Is this the rise of Kouzu High’s basketball team?
