Souichirou Yamamoto created the recently popular series, Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san which featured a funny but light story of two middle schoolers' love that bloomed from teasing. He also created the one-shot, Love Letter which took place in the same universe as the previously mentioned series. When you look at his other series such as Soredemo Ayumu wa Yosetekuru, Witch Men, and more, his distinct style is modern yet cute, which attracted his fans to read more of his works other than Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san. He is currently serializing Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san which actually got its own anime adaptation.
