Hirotaka Adachi or mostly known by his pen name, Otsuichi, is a Japanese filmmaker and a writer of short horror stories. During his days in high school, he made his debut by writing Summer, Fireworks, and My Corpse. His major works include Goth, a novel that was adapted to a comic and film, and Zoo, a series of short stories that were also adapted to film. Because of his amazing talent in writing, his works were translated to English for his foreign fans to read.
