When Hosho Aiko’s family is brutally slaughtered by a monster, she was supposed to die with them. But instead, she wakes up in a sterile room and realizes two horrifying things: one, she’s somehow alive -- and two, her left arm has been surgically and grotesquely altered. The arm is infused with the DNA of a Chimera, the monster that had killed Aiko’s family. When faced with a second attack, the arm transforms into a weapon that takes down the Chimera. Now Aiko is forced into a new fate of working with the organization Atheos, who specializes in eradicating Chimeras. But will Aiko be able to handle her new form and new world?
