For as long as she can remember, Tachibana Tsukumo has never felt pain. Other than that, she is a fairly ordinary high school girl, and enjoys practicing kendo. But one day, she’s attacked by a mysterious assailant, and saved by an immortal boy called Yao. Yao reveals to her that she is a Tokijiku, someone who has the ability to give immortality to others. For this reason, she will be targeted much more, but instead of proposing to remain by her side, Yao has just one wish: for Tsukumo to kill him. (Note: “Kendo,” literally “sword way” is a Japanese martial art that uses bamboo swords and protective armor called “bogu”.)
