Description
Japan is in a state of environmental crisis: there’s a growing landfill problem and a shortage of food. To kill two birds with one stone, researchers developed an organism called Bio-Meat (or B-M) that will eat pretty much anything, including trash, and in return they can be harvested for meat.
Maaya Kan is an elementary school student that’s just moved into Tokyo, and he’s pretty bad at making friends. But that becomes the least of his worries when a terrible earthquake strikes the BioMeat facility nearby and unleashes all the B-Ms into the city -- and they’re acquiring a new taste for human flesh… It’s now a battle for survival for Maaya and his classmates!
