For millennia, Mina Tepes, the princess-ruler of all vampires, has had to live in hiding with the rest of her kind. Tired of the isolation, she uses the vast wealth of her family line to pay off the entire national debt of Japan and build a special haven district for vampires off the coast of Tokyo. This district, known as “The Bund,” is a step towards Mina’s wish for humans and vampires to live with each other’s existences. But human terrorists and extremist vampire factions wish to put a stake in Mina’s plans -- and Mina herself. Now it’s up to this bloodsucking princess and her loyal werewolf protector, Akira, to keep The Bund intact from these attackers.
