Description
In the world of Animal Country, it is a constant battle of survival for the animal inhabitants living within it. Monoko is a lazy raccoon who was left on her own after her parents were eaten by lynxes. Hungry, she spots something in the river and fishes it out -- but instead of a meal, it’s a human baby!
Humans aren’t supposed to exist in Animal Country, but Monoko takes in the baby and becomes his mom. In a world where the weak are eaten by the strong, will she, the other raccoons, and the lynx Kurokagi be able to care for the human Tarouza? What kind of animal, or man, will he grow up to be?
