There are people who exist that take pleasure in inflicting different ways of pain unto others. They insult them, manipulate them, even give physically hurt them (but not too painful). Giving pain turns them on, and nothing gets their desire flowing like seeing the one they got the hots for looking troubled and embarrassed.
