The story follows a gardener, Ajussi, that one day after having his house destroyed by a fire gets knocked unconscious, and as a result of further damages, becomes blind. As he is being taken care of by his niece, his mind drifts away to a otherworldly forest where he is told by a woman that he needs to escape from something called a "Mua", that controls to a place refered only to as "The Hill". What follows is a story about Ajussi finding out the origin of the disasters that beset him, the origins of things he couldn't possibly imagine, and the inhabitants of the hill.
