Naruse Gaku likes rock, and ever since witnessing a music festival in Japan very similar to Woodstock he has an ambition: to have a career in music. His band Charlie isn't very popular, as he never performed live and is its sole member, but his willpower and ambition makes up for it. Music is the only thing he has, the only thing he has to run away to from his boring day job. So begins his journey as he attempts to rise to stardom, all the while reminiscing about the true legends of rock.
