Description
After a breakdown in Japan's educational system, from nurseries all the way to universities, the ministry of education has adopted more strict measures to keep student rebellion under control. Teachers are permitted to carry weapons and given permission to kill if needed, resulting in an era called the "Education Western" due to the similarities with that lawless and violent period.
Two students, the hotblooded Saotome Mondo and the cold and calculating Midou Tatsuma, forming the Student Guerrilla to face off against teachers and the apparent despot Midoro Toranosuke to bring down the tyrannical education system.

Go Nagai
Born as Kiyoshi Nagai, Go Nagai is a mangaka notorious for his unconventional and controversial stories. His mature shounen series “Harenchi Gakuen” was the first to introduce erotism to manga, and he’s credited for creating the Super Robots trope.
His manga boldly tackle taboos with dark and erotic themes and plenty of fanservice and body horror -- a novelty when he first started out, when manga was much tamer. Nagai’s works are also filled with gag and inappropriate comedy. His series “Devilman” is a perfect example of all of Nagai’s strengths rolled into one wild, deranged ride.
