Description
Tokyo, 1952. Natsuhiko Kyougoku
Natsuhiko Kyougoku is a Japanese writer born on March 26, 1963. He writes mystery novels that contain supernatural elements, especially yokai, a topic he has a special interest. While these creatures don't appear directly in the novel, through them, we get the explanation for the criminal characters' motives.
His first novel "The Summer of the Ubume" had great success and inspired the creation of Mephisto Award, which honors new mystery and fantasy writers. He won two prizes for his books: Yamamoto Shūgorō Prize for "Nozoki Koheiji" in 2003, and the Naoki Prize for "Nochi no Kōsetsu Hyaku Monogatari" in 2004. In this collection, you can enjoy some of his greatest works in manga format.
