This is a tale that opens in tragedy and horror: Prince Iska was misled and accidentally released the ancient demon Nue from his 400-year prison in a katana that Iska took. Instead of killing him, however, Iska is cursed by Nue, who places in him an evil power that turns him into a harbinger of death. With his father killed by the vengeful demon, Iska escapes the palace to stake his own revenge on Nue. Legend says the katana “Yukihira” made by the Tenma clan is the one hope against Nue -- but Iska’s journey will be full of peril and all manner of demons before he can have that fateful battle… (Note: “Katana” are Japanese-made swords that were used by samurai in the past.)
