In a certain rural town, Ken works as a smithy at a blacksmith shop that’s slowly declining in business. Ken keeps making useless blades, but he doesn’t want to give up the things his master taught him. One day, a young girl named Micchan finds his shop after following the sounds of his hammering steel. There, she also finds the spirit in a fox mask that protects Ken and the shop. Ken can’t see this spirit, but with Micchan’s sight and her growing love for the town, she wants to help both the fox spirit and Ken. As the three become closer together, how will the flames of change transform them?
