Haijima Yousuke, bored of life, casually wishes for the world to be destroyed, even though he hates fighting and involving himself with people. And yet, when a terrifying monster suddenly appears and strikes down his beautiful upperclassman Kitami Touka right before him, Haijima knows that this time, he must fight! But then something unbelievable happens: Kitami gets up and slaughters the monster by transforming into the Mythical Beast of Demise, the wolf “Fenrir”! Kitami had come to the human world for a peaceful life, but after learning that Haijima (unknowingly) had the mythical snake “Jormungandr” inside him, she calls him “brother” and declares that they destroy the world together!
